Trevor Noah exits The Daily Show

News breaks out that Trevor Noah plans to leave The Daily Show. The Daily Show is a political television show with a comedic slant. It aired on the television network that is named, “Comedy Central.”

Trevor Noah acted as the spokesman on The Daily Show for seven years. He became the spokesman on The Daily Show after Jon Stewart retired in the year 2015.

“I found myself thinking throughout the time, everything we’ve gone through – the Trump presidency, the pandemic, just the journey… and I realized that after the seven years, my time is up,” he said on The Daily Show last Thursday.

Comedy Central has not said who will be the next person to take over as the spokesperson of The Daily Show when Trevor Noah retires from the show. Comedy Central did not announce the date when Trevor Noah will exit from the show.

“We are grateful to Trevor for our amazing partnership over the past seven years. With no timetable for his departure, we’re working together on next steps,” said the television network. “As we look ahead, we’re excited for the next chapter in the 25+ year history of ‘The Daily Show’ as it continues to redefine culture through sharp and hilarious social commentary, helping audiences make sense of the world around them.”

Trevor Noah is from the country of South Africa.
