Joshua Bassett is a new singer. Bassett’s recently released a new song that is named, “Lie, Lie, Lie.” Bassett explains what inspired the song. He said:
“I wrote ‘Lie, Lie, Lie’ after I found out a friend had been lying about me behind my back for a long time. It always sucks to hear that someone you thought you could trust would throw you under the bus when it benefits them. It happens to all of us, and I think all you can do is seek out people that build you up rather than tear you down.”
There were rumors that “Lie, Lie, Lie” was about a love-triangle between Bassett, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sabrina Carpenter. It was said that Olivia Rodrigo’s newest song that is named, “Drivers License,” was about Bassett.
Bassett played “Ricky” in the television show that is named “High School Musical: The Musical Series.” Carpenter is known for her singing career. She was also one of the stars in the television show that is named, “Girl Meets World.” She played the character who is named “Maya Heart” opposite of the actress named Rowan Blanchard. Blanchard played, “Riley Matthews.”
